MillinPro has been updated to reflect the 2018 ICD-10-CM code changes that will go into effect on October 1st, 2017. The discontinued codes have been assigned an end date of 9/30/2017 to allow users to continue to utilize these codes for Dates of Service prior to 10/01/2017. This webinar will focus on the anticipated billing process and tools CCO/HH will need to have in place. Considering the first year CCO/HH will not employ all care coordinators but instead will contract with agencies to provide this service, adds a layer of complexity in the billing structure that needs to be efficiently managed. Millin Associates currently works with nearly half the Health Homes in NY State that have been established to serve the behavioral health population and will share its experience as it relates to the billing process and discuss some of the anticipated differences.
On July 1st, 2017 New York State kicked off a demonstration program called the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic or CCBHC.
Millin has been working closely with the State and agencies that are using MillinPro who approved for this pilot. The MillinPro now supports the billing process for CCBHC and has the required rules and regulations incorporated into the system.

OPWDD released last week the specifications of the Respite program changes that are taking effect July 1, 2017. The changes in the methodology could present agencies with challenges in the way services are billed.
Millin Associates will present a webinar on July 19 at 12PM with solutions to these challenges and discuss the new billing requirements for these services.

Laura will discuss how a Treatment Plan acts as the prescription for serve and the importance of amendments throughout the course of treatment. Finally, Laura will discuss the difference between a treatment plans review date versus an expiration date.

With the implementation of MAPP for Health Homes there are many new features we will be able to incorporate into the MillinPro system in order to further increase workflow efficiencies and transparency. The following are some of those new features: The “tracking file error report” and “billing support download file” will be incorporated into MillinPro’s workflow as well as the ability to identify the date the MCO received payments for specific members from the State in order to ensure the MCO’s transfer the payments to the Health Homes in a timely manner.
